2 Tix Available Damn Yankees: 7/13

A good friend unfortunately cannot use the tix he bought due to a family conflict.
He has 2 Center Orchestra seats @$110 each (face value) for the matinee of Damn Yankees on Sunday, July 13th. Seats are Row F, 109-110.

You bet this isn't EBAY. If it were, those seats would be going for two or three times that price.
Now that it is impossible to advertise tickets like these on Craigslist (completely taken over by scalper agencies), I like seeing such offers here.
I only wish I were still in town then, I'd grab them in a heartbeat!

Huh? I'm not sure why I'm being so defensive on a post that has nothing to do with me. The show's not sold out -- OK. So you think you can call up and get seats as good as row F center orchestra? Or will they be row WW balcony at the side?

I don't really care because I already have tickets in Row D center orchestra. My point is DON'T LIE and say it's SOLD OUT if IT's NOT!!!

This doesn't surprise me considering this very poster had tried to get me to buy DVD copies of the Tony Awards off of him "to help pay for the laborous task of ripping them off of my DVR" when I had asked for copies of them in a post.

Thank GOD i have friends who could do it for free!

(And thank god my seats are in Row CC Center)

Sorry if you think I'm lying to sell a pair of tickets - don't need to, thanks.

Someone told me they were so I went to Encores, searched for 2 tickets that date and performance and it came back - "No Seats Available." Only posting what I believe to be true and it was, as I said, that performance, not any other.

In response to Jeffrey - sorry if this offends you, didn't post on ebay because I'm not interested in making a profit, thought that someone on this board, a fellow Broadway lover, might like the chance for these great seats, face value! No need to get nasty - play nice.

I also went to citycenter for tickets online and entered that date for matinee. There are LOTS available, including center orchestra, but further back. In fact there are tickets available in most sections, only a few areas not available. If you got a "nothing available" you must have done something dramatically wrong.

Incidentally, the way I first came to this website was when someone suggested I look here for tickets (non-scalper) for a sold out show. I think such posts are great, especially since I know of no other good sources for them these days.

I wasn't looking to be nasty. And I have no problem with people selling tickets here. I've done it myself on occasion. But like Patash said... there are plenty of tickets available in all sections for that performance. I already knew that when I posted. That's why I thought you were being a little deceptive. Hey, we all make mistakes, I'm not perfect by any means. If you had posted them as "2 great seats, just looking to come out even" then that woulda been just fine... great in fact
