Actually, 2004 would have been the year of Avenue Q & Wicked.
The people you mentioned were a part of the 2005 Tonys.

The 2004 TONYs and Hugh's role as host and performer were pretty special.

Have the TONYs and its host been awarded an EMMY before?

If he wins this one - maybe we might get him again for 2006
