Are all of these actually definite? I forget about them because I haven't seen much news related to them. "Threepenny Opera" intrigues me...

For Sure:
SWEENY TODD
THREEPENNY OPERA
Probably/Maybe:
PAJAMA GAME
A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC
THE WIZ
06-07 Season:
A CHORUS LINE
PETER PAN will not play yet another Bway revival after all, but instead Cathy Rigby will complete her run as Peter at the great Madison Square Garden - it has been reported.

The Pajama Game is barely in pre-production and far from cast yet and it won't be ready for Fall...tragic!
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

What about Barefoot in the Park? Or is that still not definite?

Can PETER PAN even be called a revival? It's just going to be the same bizzare production that's been touring since if first left broadway YEARS ago...

Isn't Peter Pan going to play at MSG? If so, then it's not going to be considered a Broadway revival.

The tour launched September 24, 2004 in California and she's been touring the country ever since. The New York engagement this fall will be the end of the tour.

Sorry, have to disagree there...Cathy has embodied and given that childrens story to a whole new generation and for that she should be rewared. Not to mention the air shes been flying through in Both PETER PAN & SUESSICAL the last few years.
As far as Play Revivals go...the only ones I know that are confirmed and pretty much set for sure are:
THE CONSTANT WIFE
BAREFOOT IN THE PARK
THE ODD COUPLE
ABSURD PERSON SINGULAR
A TOUCH OF THE POET
THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES
As far as NEW PLAYS are concerned:
A NAKED GIRL ON THE APPIAN WAY
RABBIT HOLE
AFTER MISS JULIE

do you think primo will be deemed a special event like all the one-man shows were last year? or will it be a new play?

It actually might be considered a play and not a "Special Theatrical Event." Last year, both Golda's Balcony and I Am My Own Wife were deemed eligible for Best Play by the Tony committee (IAMOW won; Golda's wasn't nominated, but Feldshuh got a nod as Best Actress).

i know those two... i was more referring to 700 sundays, which should have been eligible as a play and crystal as an actor. and i would have thought the good body to be a play too. whoopi and dame edna and mario cantone i understand as special events, though... i was referring to that season where it seemed like the rule was if it only had one person it was a special event... obviously jefferson mays and tovah feldshuh deserved their accolades and that's why i'm wondering which side of this battle primo will end up on.

After seeing Primo last night, I would definitely consider it a play.
