Where are Joanne Gleason and Pacific Overtures?

You can't nominate Gary Beach and not Daniel Davis. I think they'll both be there.

I was thinking Daniel might be under Supporting Actor, I saw the show though, he was great!

THE FROGS isn't a revival.
NATHAN LANE probably won't be nominated.
BROOKLYN will not be nominated for best musical over Little Women or any other new musical, except DRACULA.
It's too early to predict anything else.

No, I don't think so. In fact I think I have a better chance of being nominated for Best Actress in a Musical than she does.

I don't think "The Wiz" is going to open in time for Tony judging. I've heard nothing about it so far...besides the fact that Dodgers might be pushing it back for a Fall opening.
Don't forget Sherie Renee for best actress. I heard her part is quite large in "Scoundrels" and that she definitely steals the show! And...even though I don't want it too...wouldn't Good Vibrations also pick up a nom for new musical?...and Lennon for that matter?...and The Light in the Piazza?

I think "The Light in the Piazza," "Pacific Overtures" and Joanna Gleason need to be on that list.
"Brooklyn" will NOT be nominated over "Little Women" haha.

Unless Christina Applegate turns out to be sensational I think you can hand the Tony to Sutton Foster right now!

I wouldn't say that too early. Sherie Renee got absolute raves in San Diego...and Christina might turn out to be quite a surprise.

About The Frogs, it's not new, so it can't be under New Musical, and it fits the Revival category more than any other. It's the Nathan Lane and others adaptation, it wasn't just created
And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps...
What did she realize, Kitten?
That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs.
What's wrong with that?
Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had...
Where?
On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

People I know who've seen Dirty Rotten Scoundrels report pretty unanimously that it's Norbert Leo Butz who steals the show - that, in fact, it's his breakthrough role. Since he's one of the two leads, perhaps his name should be included here.

I didn't like Little Women...
I liked BKLYN better... but I can see why Little Women would easily win over BKLYN. I'm surprised that the BKLYN actors still have voices left.
And Sutton Foster was pretty good in Little Women.(I think she was better in TMM, but still.)

Well...The Frogs never had a Broadway or Off Broadway run of any kind. I believe it was mounted at Yale and a few smaller productions...but they weren't commercial enough to qualify it as a revival.

From what I hear, Light in the Piazza is amazing. I doubt All Shook Up will get a nomination over it. And I have also heard that Victoria Clark is going to win the Tony for her role. She will at least be nominated.
