Yay!! I remember you...they censored your sign??

I think it's hilarious how many tourists whipped out their cameras and started snapping pictures of the limo screaming "WHO IS IT?!?!" LOL. I was cracking up. The power of persuasion!! People were so confused, it was awesome.

Jesse's Chatterbox - Spelling contest?
 May 11 2005, 11:16:40 PM
Did anyone listen to Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Chatterbox? That little BITCH who did the spelling contest to win tickets to the show, she had to spell 'crepuscule' only she spelled it 'crepescule' ... what the crap? And they said she was right and gave her the tickets??

The only reason I am pissed off is because I was there trying to win and when I raised my hand, that girl KICKED me and stood up and screamed out the answer.

Does anyone else think this is TOTALLY UNFAIR?!?!?!?!?!?

re: Betty in Sweeney?

It hasn't been a done deal for awhile. I work for the company, I know what's going on. Callbacks were the 14th and 15th. The show was cast this week.

Actually, most of the cast is relatively 'unknown'... the only two 'stars' are Sweeney and Mrs Lovett... and one of them isn't really as widely known as the other. One girl is fresh out of UMich. A few have been around but haven't done much in awhile, or just aren't really known. The instrument choices are a little ?!?! for some of the ro

The show is CAST. It's way past people being in consideration for things. Final callbacks were over a week ago and the contracts are in negotiation. Everyone who was cast has accepted. Neither Cyndi Lauper nor Betty Buckley were cast as Mrs Lovett. The role is finalized with the casting of someone who WILL be playing the role.
re: Lauper as Mrs. Lovett?
 Apr 23 2005, 03:59:45 PM
It's not true. The show was cast early this week and Cyndi Lauper is NOT cast as Mrs Lovett. Contracts are currently in negotiation, and the woman who was offered Mrs Lovett is definitely doing it... and she's not Cyndi Lauper... every role has been cast with the exception of Mr Fogg.

As far as instruments go, Sweeney will be playing guitar and Mrs Lovett will be playing a brass instrument.

Yay!! I knew your icon looked familiar! I was right behind the people who were talking about Family Guy! I wish I had checked this post before I had gone to the show!

Okay, yeah, I was there around 3:45 also... maybe a little bit later? Did someone go up to you and say hello and say that his parents were there? lol I remember that happening but for the most part I was trying to stay out of the sun because I was burning. Oh, and I remember the people in front of me were talking about Family Guy. :-p

I'm a bcefa volunteer and for Gypsy of the Year, we were in the third row center orchestra!! But this time we were not so lucky, although we did manage fr

Yeah when they made the announcement of Denzel matching their money raised, I was so excited... the world needs more selfless people like him!!

Little Women's MARCH GIRLS GONE WILD skit was the funniest since Avenue Jew. It was definitely NOT what I expected from that show, LOL. Hiiilarious.

Juliet, what time did you get there? A girl a few people ahead of me in the line to pick up tickets looked a little like the person in your user picture... I was there insanely early, I tho

Holly has 2 really great songs in the upcoming musical... the show is very funny, a lot of dialogue is taken straight from the movie, and they've kept in two songs... "I Wanna Grow Old With You" and the song Robbie sings to Julia after he breaks up with Linda. The funniest role by FAR is definitely Rosie, the little old lady... she has the two funniest songs in the show and will definitely be the real crowd pleaser I think.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see you in Wicked :'( *tear*...but me and a bunch of my friends are hitting the theaters 11/11/05 for the Rent movie!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! Razz, you said exactly what I was thinking about the Ensemble having a full sound. "Heartbreak Hotel" is like a random gospel choir and "Can't Help Falling in Love" was literally one of the greatest things I have heard live. I'm very very excited about this show!!
re: Kate vs. Meredith
 Mar 22 2005, 12:19:14 PM
I didn't see Meredith, only Kate and Nadine. I didn't really love either of them, but I think I enjoyed Nadine more. I did like Kate in "The Music Man" however.

I got sent to the real estate site too!! What the crap?! You don't know HOW many IM's I've gotten over the past weekend about the site not working lol. I wrote an e-mail to Mojo but it got returned to me because the e-mail address isn't working. It must have something to do with the server.
