2006 Broadway on Broadway

Any updates on this years "Broadway on Broadway"?

Not sure if I should book a flight.

Only one month to go but no info on the homepage.

Sorry...did not know about the weeks notice.
I have never been in NYC for it before.
Only got some Video-recordings from friends.
Do they introduce any new shows during the festival?

Look for a list of performing shows around the beginning of Sept. But you can make a good guess as to what will perform. Longs runs such as Rent, Lion King, Mamma Mia, Phantom etc. You will probably get a song from shows like Wicked, Q, TCP, Chicago. Then they usually have 1 or 2 new shows that either just opened or will open perform. My guesses are, you'll see something from Poppins or Tarzan, Weddding Singer and maybe a few others like Grey Gardens ( I dont know their opening date) It’s a very fun (and hot, tiring) day. If your in NY Id defiantly say to go. Im not sure that I would personally book a flight JUST to see it. But hey, its free broadway.

I've gone the past two years and will definitely be there this year. So excited!

Will probably get there very early and hope to meet up with some other BWW members!

I don't know if I can go this year, I had the chance to go a couple of years ago but instead I was waiting in a BIG crowd of people waiting for Hugh Jackman to show up for the last Boy From Oz. Are they going to broadcast it this year?
