2006 Playbill Yearbook Highlights: Barefoot in the Park

The 2006 revival of Barefoot in the Park has finally proved itself to be useful. Their page in the yearbook, written by the Production Stage Manager, has got to have some of the funniest quotes I've ever heard.

They include:

Busiest day at box office: the day after Brantley said we sucked, we sold out 3 shows to SRO.

Favorite catchphrase: Is the curtain up? It's like a library out there!

"Prior to their drunk scenes, Amanda, Jill, and Patrick would swig whiskey and rum to get themselves in the mood."

And the best of all:
Favorite off site hangout: even though we enjoyed each others company, we didnt spend time together outside the theater. it was a bunch of grownups coming in, doing their jobs, and going home."

My translation: no matter how I can try to make it sound nice, they hated each other!
