2006 Tony Awards Show

Hi:

I have an unusual request.

My friend is an avid tony awards show watcher, but last year she was in the hospital for cancer surgery. We tried taping the show so she could view it later, but we hit a clitch with the vcr. I tried bringing the tape to different video restoration firms, but no luck so far. I have tried everywhere (including online auctions) to get a copy of last year's show and still almost a year later have not found one.

Is it possible to get a copy of last year's show? Did anyone make a copy of last year's show (either a vhs or dvd version) to add to a personal collection?

I am running out of options. If you don't have one, do you have any suggestions of how to get one?

I would like to make this happen for my friend. She has gone through so much and this would give her a little pleasure and happiness.
