Thanks to everyone who participated in the Tony nominations polls! Some key takeaways from the actual nominations versus what we predicted:

- LaChanze and Taylor Louderman got in over Caissie Levy for Best Leading Actress in a Musical.
- Alexander Gemignani got in over Alex Newell for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.
- Ariana DeBose, Renee Fleming, and Diana Rigg got in over Kenita Miller, Lea Salonga, and Kate Rockwell for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.
- Latin History for Morons got in over Meteor Shower for Best Play.
- Michael Cera, Brian Tyree Henry, and David Morse got in over James McArdle, Chris Evans, and Lee Pace for Best Featured Actor in a Play.
- Deborah Findlay got in over Alison Pill for Best Featured Actress in a Play.

how many people do you think are going to click on each individual link. Can't you just make ONE poll with different questions?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

And again, the exact reason behind individual polls for each category is because a number of people (myself included) do not like the idea of voting in all categories. I know I haven't participated in some of the more design specific categories because I don't have that background. Again, if you don't want to vote in all categories, don't. No one is making you. I can't believe of all things, THIS has caused a minor uproar. Now I remembered why I don't post.

You could have made a mass poll that allows you to complete it without voting in every category. You don't need to play the victim over this, just go back to not posting. :)

It saddens me to see ONCE ON THIS ISLAND lose its groundswell of support, although that matches all the Gold Derby experts' predictions as well. Hard for an intimate show that opened last fall to compete with the lavish hot new ticket (MFL) that opened a month ago, good as it is.
