So excited by this lineup!
Robert Icke's production of Hamlet was easily the best Hamlet I've ever seen, or probably ever will see. Andrew Scott won't be transferring with the production, but Alex Lawther (from "End of The F*ucking World" and "The Jungle"
is also a great fit for the role! I'm concerned that production will be too intimate for the Armory though.
I'm also thrilled that Hamlet will be running in Rep with Icke's Oresteia, which I've been wanting to see for years! And with Lia Williams to boot!!
Plus, an Enda Walsh play, and a new Bill T. Jones piece!!!
Icke’s Oresteia is one of the best productions I’ve ever seen and certainly the best presentation of any Greek classic that I’ve had the privilege of attending, like your concerns about his Hamlet, JBroadway, I’m unsure how something I saw at the small, intimate Almeida will be scaled up for the enormity of the Armory, but suffice to say, I will gladly buy a ticket to plunge myself back in for another 5ish hours of breathtaking theater-going.

Lawther is exciting casting, but what is it going to take to get a post-Fleabag Andrew Scott to New York?!
