With all this buzz about FUNNY GIRL’s backstage drama, let us not forget that 29 years ago today Patti Lupone opened the world premiere production of SUNSET BOULEVARD in London. Talk about backstage drama! 
 

As a matter of fact Lupone called Beanie today and told her, “ You think you got it bad? I have two words for you: Glenn Close.”

A podcast on the whole history of "Sunset Boulevard" and the trials and tribulations it went through for four rocky years. You can find it on any place you listen to podcasts. 

 

Compared to 'Funny Girl' these days, it looks like a speed bump in the road.
