Yes.

Putting his name on it was the most flagrant move since the law that established the Kennedy Center was clear it could not be named for anyone else (even in addition).

Definitely worth the overhaul Roundabout is doing on the theatre. I recall sitting in the mezz for Sondheim on Sondheim it was painful (to my then much younger knees)!

I’ve loved this podcast. What a unique and loving gift to the public and fans this has been. 

I'm surprised no one has brought up Sydney James Harcourt's new press push, which includes a shoot with Playgirl. 

I can't remember the last time a performer on Bway so directly embraced (pursued?) a s*x symbol status.

It's also playing in Buenos Aires next week, starring two stars from Netflix's Envidiosa. 

It the cast in Chicago going to Bway? It feels like they would want some bigger names...

Well put. And let's not forget the person in the WH was found by a jury to have assaulted someone, and folks still stay alleged. Folks will defend who they want to defend, regardless.

Is that real or speculation? Was it actually too many or too many outliners?

Finally finished the audiobook and while I don’t begrudge her using AI, it’s weird she not only isn’t honest about it but actively discusses recording it. 

tbh it reminds me of the pattern she acknowledges in the book about creating a press story fit for public consumption.

But in all, I’m happy she did the book.

Personally I see no evidence that Liza doesn’t know what’s going on. And on the contrary, she seems to be happy to be there and happy to promote the book. 
 

So, as sad as it is to watch her in this shape, I don’t see the evidence this is all Michael’s doing. 

I should add, to me, the lies about the audiobook and autopen seem to be in line with the woman who was in self (and public) denial about a lot of things over the years, as she says in the book. 

It's as if the official version of events in her life and the truth have not frequently parted ways. 

This is feeling like mama needs some money to support her care. She goes over her money troubles in the book. (The auction a few years back wasn't because she was sick of holding on to Judy's scripts and some of her Halstons.) And I say there's nothing wrong with that! 

Genuine question: can’t they put her behind a bulletproof barrier of some kind like a modern politician? The sound is live but simplified and may still be cool enough to become a marketing event. (Though likely the detail of how it is different in NYc and what that says about the US would be noted every time.)

Agreed. Laughable to suggest she wouldn't be a stage draw.
