3 Show Days?

There's a UK tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat coming up next year and I've noticed that the week it plays my city there are three shows on the Saturday (2pm, 5pm, 8pm). It just seems kind of insane to me for them to have 3 performances in a day, with very little break between them all. Has anyone else seen any other instances of this happening?

3 Show Days?

I think i remember one if the christmas shows (Grinch?) do this. But i dont think it sas as jam packed as the time frame you mention....more like 11, 3 & 8? Someone else might remember better

3 Show Days?

If I'm not mistaken, the Radio City Christmas Spectactular has up to 5 shows daily.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

I think you are right, but they aren't governed by Equity. (which is why I didn't even think of it.)

Is the production the OP speaks of professional or the equivalent of equity?

I actually have no idea. I believe it's a professional production because the theatre website & brochure don't say otherwise but I can find very little information about it, everything seems to be about last year's tour with Joe McElderry.
