I saw it this afternoon after putting it off for way too long. And I wish I had seen it earlier! I thought it was really great...Gabriel Ebert and Mary Louise Wilson gave captivating and incredibly involving performances. Funny, moving, and almost frighteningly real. I believed every second of their individual portrayals and their complicated, loving, dynamic relationship. The play is pretty powerful, in ways I didn't really see coming. Beautiful set, sharp direction, and a swift-moving 100 minute running time made this a real lovely escape from the heat this afternoon.
Did anyone else see it? What did you think?
