I've always thought The Wedding Singer was a really solid and kind of underrated musical comedy, so I could see this being pretty good.
I'm biased as it's co-written by a wonderful friend of mine but it's funny, sweet, and enchanting. I have seen several readings of this over the past year and it's in great shape. I hope it's well received over there just like their other hit Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors.

I guess Adam Sandler & Drew Barrymore romcoms are fuel for musicals.
50 First Dates is one of his better comedies. Hopefully they get rid of the transphobia, though.
