Yeah, he very much did not become famous because he was in Next to Normal. But, I do feel people know him for extensive television work and he's very recognize on any stage in the world. Oh, and Sutton Foster is very, very famous now. When you're photographed everywhere including random beaches in Australia and JFK, you've made it. Not for the best reason but it is what it is.

I can't imagine there's much daylight between this tour and whatever version that plays on their cruise ships.It's nearly identical and both are absolutely terrible. This has been talked about for years regarding Broadway but no one wants the cheap, terrible production that has been circulating. The costumes especially are atrocious like they got some fabric during Walmart's Black Friday deal and just threw it on the actors. This was....good. True to the film, well produced, lovely music (never distracting) and excellent lighting design. Everyone needs a bit more time with these characters, especially Ms.Rodriguez. For me, she is strictly a musical theater actress, and a very good one. Not a must see, but it will definitely fill the theater for the 13 weeks this is playing. I agree, he has an incredibly strong fan base. He would be great in this since he's charming, handsome, and has a beautiful voice.

He's trying way too hard, yikes is right. This isn't selling all that great and I doubt that video changed that.

Aaron is absolutely a draw. People loved Aaron and Sutton in Sweeney and they were superior to the original cast (especially Jordan, Gaten, and Annaleigh). Joe Locke was just becoming really famous, and he had a lovely voice but it's not like people were only coming for him. Also, grosses never dipped below 1.2 million when they all joined the cast at seven shows a week. So, if this show continues, he'd be great in it.
