Just a rumor that will probaly be confirmed as fact within one week. Just like this past summers Hairspray run in Los Angeles; look for at least one if not two of the original leads to reprise their roles at the Pantages theater. I can't say it is more than a rumor at this point but look at this Sundays Los Angeles times for more info and yes... there is already one signature on the dotted line ... .

hhhhmmmm....and one of the original leads is making a Hollywood career and just returned from that "left coast", while the other is highly touted as a lead in an upcoming film of her first B'way show about bohemian youth....

it all makes a lot of sense. Maybe poor widdle Schwartz will get some kind of LA League theatre award, even if it's not all that "tony"....
Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys. "I guarantee that we'll have tough times. 'twould be interesting, but I'm on the E coast and I'm not believing anything until confirmed, naturally.

You guys are doing a really great job of not spilling who the rumor is about.
The truly beautiful should be lawfully restricted from wearing clothing; and the truly butt-ugly should be lawfully mandated from going naked.

I will jump up and down when it is confirmed on Playbill or through the Pantages Theater, but I have noticed that the ticket prices for the LA run are VERY expensive, around the price of getting a good seat at the Gershwin, so I was thinking that maybe a rumor like this rings true.

We have one week to see.

You all can also do some googling and find out that a certain person is singing at the Hollywood Bowl on a dark night of the run.

I couldn't find anything either.
Chenoweth also has a bunch of committed dates (performance in NYC and 2 NJ concert dates)

First of all I did not say it was Idina or Christian Chenowith. As to where in the LA times my guess would be the Calendar section which is our equivalent of the Art And Leisure sec.

Oy. Wicked is at the Pantages. Hollywood Bowl has concerts in the summer. I believe their website is hollywoodbowl.org. This person is not headlining a concert. Just appearing in one.

I know, DAME, I know where the Pantages is. And where the BOWL is.

Ah, if they are appearing in a concert, rather than headlining, than the fact that they were in Wicked will not be on the website. I didn't realize. Thank you.

Personally? I wish Carole Shelley would do a concert - she's hysterical.

well i can't find it. but then again, it's really not that important to me because i saw the show with all the originals and i live on the east coast. it just would've been fun to know before everyone else.
