I hear that the show has a good balance but how much country music is in the show?

There's Doralee's section of them dreaming of how to do in Hart and I guess you could call "Backwoods Barbie" country. Check out the song clips from the website if you want.

The country to non-country ratio is about the same ratio as Doralee to non-Doralee scenes in the film.

I'd say you can tell that Parton wrote the score from listening to it, but I generally hate country music and loved this score.

Depending on whether you're on the extreme sides, the last row should be fine. The show already has big sets and big performances, so you won't really miss anything.
