Posted: 12/12/18 at 2:23pmI need a good audition song for a chorus line at my theatre. My preferred roles would be Morales or any of the girls who sing at the ballet (Maggie, Sheila, Bebe). Please help!!

No offense, but you just joined today, and without any of us knowing who you are, your voice, your age, your range, etc. --- how could anyone here possibly give you an informed response? If you're looking at those roles, maybe sing "Nothing", or "What I Did For Love" or "At The Ballet"?

FYI: Sheila is a woman, not a girl.
The songs are character driven. Choosing a role based on the singing material speaks volumes about your auditioning approach.

Posted: 12/12/18 at 8:22pmI’m new this website and I’ve always been able to easily pick out my Audition Songs so I didn’t even think about any of that. Sorry! I’m a mezzo and my range is about D3-B5 according to my vocal coach but I’m not a very strong belter. I’m also 17 and I can’t use songs from the show for my audition. Thanks so much for the help!
