Will these shows have a student rush, rush, or lotto?
THANKS!

Posted: 9/3/06 at 11:00pmDo shows open with lottos, or do they add them after a month or two?
#3re: A Chorus Line & Grey Gardens Rush or Lotto?
Posted: 9/3/06 at 11:02pmMany times they don't announce whether they'll be having rush/lotto until right before they start performances.

Posted: 9/3/06 at 11:03pmI believe ACL will have SRO, but no lotto or rush. Not sure about Grey Gardens...
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

I don't know about confirmation from the box office, but both Telecharge and Talkin' Broadway list ACL as having standing room tickets for $26.25 (if the show is sold out.)
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Does anyone know if Grey Gardens has some kind of rush?
According to Talkin' Broadway, they have standing room, but SRO doesn't really agree with my vertigo, and if I took my medication regularly, I couldn't stock-pile it for Saturday nights, and I'd be left with nothing to take with my bourbon.

Posted: 10/8/06 at 7:07pmI saw Grey Gardens on Friday night with a student rush ticket. They are the regular $25 in the front row. I was able to get the ticket around 5:30 for an 8pm show. Ebersole is brilliant, so if you can get the student ticket, definitely do. They also have balcony seats for $36, although they're listed as partial view. They are at the very top of the theater, and you get an almost birds eye view of the stage. I wouldn't recommend these seats because you miss alot of the facial expressions. But it's another cheaper option.

WickedLauren-
So did you just show up at 5:30 and get a front row ticket for $25?
If yes, then that is simply awesome.

Posted: 10/8/06 at 7:11pmI sat in the balc on Friday and could see everything fine. Yes, it was steep, but I didn't mind and it was inexpensive. I will probably do the student rush front row deal when I see it again after it opens. Glad they offer that option as well!

Official ACL SRO policy:
12 tickets available per performance. 6 are on the far left when you walk in (1-21 odd) and 6 are center (101-106). The person in 106 stands about 2 inches away from Zach's perch in the back.
These tickets are sold when the box office opens, and, from my experience, whether it's sold out or not. There were 3 virtually empty rows towards the back of the orchestra yesterday afternoon. From what I saw it was 2 or 3 per person. The evening show's SRO sold out within 3 minutes of the box office opening. I got the last spot for the matinee and was about 55th in line.

Posted: 10/9/06 at 12:40amWell I got Grey Gardens studuent rush last Tuesday and it was simply amazing. You won't regret paying full price to help this show. I paid full price for Tarzan, the night before they said they would have student rush. I'm still kicking myself for that.

I missed out on ACL SRO but paid for a full price ticket that was the extreme left of the second to last row. It was a 95% full view seat and wasn't bad, but not worth $111.25. Review will be included next week.
I went to GREY GARDENS box office today and asked if they had student rush - the woman told me 'no.' I then went to purchase a balcony seat, which I got, and she told me it was full view - NOT partial view - I'd just have to "sit up straight." A woman behind me lost something in an earlier performance, I asked her opinion on the show. She said she didn't like it. It wasn't the worst thing ever - but the "songs weren't memorable and there are SEVERE book issues, but the performances are great..."
