A Chorus Line Lotto
A Chorus Line Lotto#1
Posted: 6/16/07 at 6:03pmI know I ask these questions a lot I've just been out of the loop for awhile and am trying to get back in. But can anyone tell me what the lotto has been like and how hard is it to win? Thank you so much!

Posted: 6/16/07 at 7:10pmugh! sounds like me, julie! Though recently things have gotten better and I think I've finally broken the curse. The boyfriend always wins for me though, luckily. Plus he has this pesky habit of being called first (it's happened twice at Hairspray, twice at Ave Q, and at Wicked... jerk.)

Posted: 6/16/07 at 8:05pmThe first time I saw ACL, I tried to buy a standing room ticket and the guy sold me a lotto seat. The second time I actually tried lottery, and all but a few got tickets.

Lotto is 20 seats.Tuesday was a MESS.. I figured it being mid week and pouring out, it would be empty. It was PACKED.

Posted: 6/17/07 at 2:54pmI've tried the ACL lotto three times and have never gotten it. Was able to get SRO once instead, but the other two times I couldn't afford full price. I now go to the TKTS booth instead for $60 orchestra seats(which are all the way in the back and off to the side).

Posted: 6/17/07 at 6:02pmI found it easy to get lottery tickets in the spring during the week, but the location of the seats was HORRIBLE. I don't remember if they are technically partial view or not, but they were the furthest on the left orchestra. Very cheap, which was great and obviously the location was worth the low price, but if you can afford a better seat, I'd recommend getting it.
