I saw my first production of A Chorus Line last night and I was blown away. I did have a question about what of the lyrics during "Hello 12..." MARK says "Locked in the bathroom with Peyton Place." What is that a referance too?

Posted: 6/24/06 at 9:24pmActually it refers to a racy soapy book called Peyton Place that was turned into a film and TV show (With Mia Farrow and Ryan O'Neal). Very much like Desperate Housewives and almost as racy. Back in the 60's it was quite shocking. What he's doing with the book in the bathroom should be fairly obvious and I won't go into any more detail than that...
