"But we digress!"
I think, in addition to this, they should make a Broadway-themed ride at some amusement park, where you travel through scenes from different shows until the splahing ending! Woot! It'd be like Splash Mountain, only without all the scary singing animals...now there would be scary singing Broadway performers!

Posted: 1/2/04 at 1:57pm'Way back in the days of the message board on Broadway.Com, there was a lengthy thread (about 12 pages) entitled "Greg 'n' Dollypop's Broadway Theme Park" People kept adding idea after idea. Among the attractions were MISS SAIGON helicopter rides; Javert's Suicide Bungee Jump, MAME's Rising Of The Moon attraction, THE FULL MONTY ring toss, The PHANTOM OF THE OUTHOUSE restrooms, The Von Trapp's "Whack-a-Trapp" game, THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORROR's botanical gardens, Rosie O'Donnell's Phoney Baloney Cafe, a full replica of the Harmonia Gardens Restaurant (where yours truly would descend the staircase at promptly 8 PM every evening), "The Girl In The Yellow Dress" dance-a-thon from CONTACT, and many others. It was a howl but it got deleted along with a whole bunch of other threads when Broadway.Com became weird.
