Snagged a great cancellation seat last Thurs.

Didn't love the play; but have to say that it feels like continued tightening / reworking could result in a stunning piece.

Did, however, love all the performances, and they are well worth making the effort to see. Carla Gugino doing angst-y is always high on my list, and she is mesmerizing here. Peter Grosz has nailed it in this piece, as well.Together they entirely portray and reconcile the complexity of both their widely different personalities, and the emotions occasioned by parenting Jake at this particular time. Great chemistry.

For me, it's always a treat to see Caroline Aaron. Michelle Beck is a strong supporting link.
