I have always loved the Judi Dench version. It melts my heart every time.

When they show her doing it on her BRAVO Profiles (where is the Bravo Profiles anyway) they showed the actualy stage version of it and i actually wept when she did it.

Not only is the score one of Sondheim's best, but Wheeler's script is exceptional. There are so many details nuanced into both the songs and the scenes, it takes weeks to uncover them all. Rarely have I considered a work brilliant, but I would say that this most definitely is.

(Slight confusion in the names. Carl-Magnus is Fredrik's foil. Henrik is Fredrik's son.)

The show is amazing. I hold it very closely to ITW- (SITPWG doesnt hold a candle to ALNM. One of my friends from High School was in the 97 production, she played fredricka. (at lincoln center)

Henrik is a fabulous role. Consider yourself blessed.
