I saw this today, and being lazy as I am, without any prior knowledge about this production. But..I really enjoyed it. What a cute comedy. I must say most of the charactors were very typical and nothing special, but that worked.

And, among great cast, Matthew Morrison and James Yaegashi stood out! Especially, Matthew Morrison, since I have never seen him in this kind of production before, he surprised me. He was great! He cracked me up.

I had a mixed feeling about Ann Guilbert's charactor...THAT was too typical for me, but I can see many people love her.

As for the story, I am still trying to understand what the title means...I mean, the "naked girl on the Appian way" is explained in the story, so I know what this is, but I am trying to get what this implies...I am always slow like this.

The only thing is...I still hate the American Airlines Theatre. I loved most of the show that run here, but still hate the theatre...

Yay!Glad to hear that you liked it. I saw it last Saturday as part of my theatre class. I thought it was very good and loved the cast. They were all very good, but I have to agree that Ann Guilbert's character did seem a little too typical.
