Anyone have more information on this? It intrigues me.
The idea is a librarian is transported into Sleeping Beauty and her boss is trying to alter the story. Seems a little crazy and confusing, but that is just what I got from the website.
There is no information about a venue, cast, or anything really. Just a few sample songs and the creative team. Did anyone here anything about this? I love the idea of Sleeping Beauty as a fully staged musical and this concept seems interesting.

Posted: 8/29/09 at 10:43pmI didn't realize this show still had a life. I know it made its world premiere last year in the UK, but not in the West End... I believe in Dublin. It was one of those stage musicals that had a lot of financial issues. Other than that, I haven't heard much else.

Posted: 8/30/09 at 7:03amThe show was due to open in Dublin, with Ria Jones, Bruno Langley and Lucy Evans. The backers, EMI IIRC, pulled out, with the news first being that it would downsize, and was cancelled completely. The reviews on the site are for the authors previous work, Nightshriek.

Yeah, it was due to open in Dublin last summer, got cancelled, and nothing has been heard since.
It's pretty safe to say that it's been forgotten about and won't surface anytime soon.
