All of you need to find better vendors for your custom step & repeats. What you're working with now is awful across the board. Every opening night photo is against a generic wall or against a step and repeat that is printed on a cheap vinyl. If you must use that material for budget purposes, apply a dulling spray (hairspray) to ensure light from the camera flashes doesn't bounce off of the material. Otherwise please start using fabric.

You also need to hire a lighting designer to light the step & repeat and general press area. You cannot simply mount flood lights to the frame.

I was just looking through photos of the recent Phantom event and everyone looks awful because of the step and repeat and the way it's lit. Everyone deserves better.

 Thanks.

It's the backdrop they use on red carpets usually with the logo of the show printed over and over.

I own a company the provides swag/merch for organizations, including step and repeat backdrops, lanyards, etc.  If you know any GMs or Press Agents personally, send them my way and I'll hook them up with the good stuff.  A Note To Bway GM's & Press Agents
