I was told from someone who is "in the know" with Live from Lincoln Center that this would happen...although they won't give me any more info than that...

IF they do this, and I think it will be a big IF, I hope they do a better job than they did with Contact. Contact was unwatchable, the dancing was so badly shot and edited that it made no sense whatever.

So if Piazza was extended, would VIctoria still be in it?

It's at Lincoln Center; from the beginning it was set to be a limited run. It was supposed to close AGES ago.

LITP on TV would be beautiful! I would watch it for sure. It's kind of sad though that the entire original cast wouldn't be immortalized on film for that special airing.

Vicki has said (I think, I hope I'm not making this up) that she would like to stay with the show until the end so if it extends, I assume, she will probably try to stay with it. It would require a theatre change, but I think it's worth it. It is the best thing on Broadway right now, IMO. I see it at least once every time I go to the city.

Would it be terribly tacky if they had a special performance with the OBC that they recorded for DVD? I wouldn't want Aaron or Katie to be offended, but I LOVE the original cast. Yeah, I just decided it would be tacky...sad.

I LOVE Light in the Piazza. I saw it twice when I was in NY. I would love to have it on dvd. Oh, that would be great. :)
