A Producer's Perspective

Anyone interested in reading a producer rant about absolutely NOTHING relevant and making blanket inaccurate statements that have nothing to do with anything, check this out. I found his posts infuriating, especially those related to the strike.

You may recognize him from the iPhone commercial. One of the things so irritating about reading his blog, is the fact that no one has benefitted more from free publicity than this guy. The iPhone commercial - in which he plugs his shows, coupled with the fact that he his shows have benefitted a million-times over from the strike. He has nothing to complain about

I don't think he's trying to be taken too seriously here, but I think a lot of it is pretty funny. Of course you know he's going to take Cohen and Local One to task... that's just the side he's on. No big deal.

Yea, maybe - but he is doing other Producers a disservice by speaking so irresponsibly.

Why does he bring up 9-11? He also states things that are FALSE - the Musicians 802 strike was 25 days long - the longest Bway strike in history, back in 1975. He just doesn't even have facts straight. When he says such nonsense as "We forget that the theater industry is a young one" or " This is a result of these baby boomers getting in there and shaking things up. Which is exactly what's needed" he is just talking out of his ass. He is making a fool out of himself, which is what he is
