Quite frankly, it really needs some sort of update. I ate there on a whim just a few weeks ago, and I felt like I was in a retirement home. But that wasn't because of the age of the diners, but just the overall aura of sitting there just felt "old."

Tonight's anniversary performance introduced a new joke,  replacing Jeffrey Dahmer with another infamous Jeffrey, and it received a huge laugh.

That said, it's actually anniversary is on the 24th. Anyone know why they decided to celebrate tonight? I mean, yes, Trey Parker and Matt Stone were there, as was Andrew Rannels, but other than math, there wasn't anything really all that special. But scheduling issues is a rather lame excuse.

Why are they doing this in June when the anniversary performance is, well, tonight? Shouldn't they have done that this week?

It's selling to people on this board and other theater needs. They're seeing it now. I looked at two weeks worth of sales after the official opening and there are plenty of tickets to be had . . . at least half the house.

This. If they had kicked them out, there would absolutely have been a show "waiting in the wings." The Shuberts weren't expecting this closure. They told the staff that they probably won't have anything until August.

Shows aren't required to use it. So it's possible those shows aren't, or it's just not yet implemented.

You would be wrong - as someone who works at a long running Broadway show - 60% of the crowd are tourists from Europe & Canada , most people do not care the least about Trump andpolitics - I’m in the real world - it’s all tourists - same as always and it’s almost end of June - still waiting for what The View told me to come true, again normal people do not care about politics , they are here .
