Posted: 6/28/04 at 12:48pmI saw "A Raisin In The Sun" on Saturday, June 26. I was absolutely blown away by Phylicia Rashad's performance. I knew she would be wonderful but she absolutely took my breath away! Can anyone please tell me if there is talk about putting this play on DVD? I would buy it in a heartbeat!

Posted: 6/28/04 at 12:59pmI haven't heard any talk about filming this production for release (and I doubt it would happen), but the classic original with Sidney Poitier, Claudia McNeil, Ruby Dee and Diana Sands is available on DVD (check Amazon etc...). While the current production is quite good overall, nothing compares to the original cast in the 1961 film version.
