"Lucas is a playwright. Steve is a magician. Lucas asked Steve to show him some magic tricks. Steve did. And this is what happened.

Tony Award nominee Lucas Hnath (Dana H.) directs this unique collaboration starring sleight of hand artist and illusion designer Steve Cuiffo."

Anyone have any intel on this May/June production at Atlantic Stage 2?  Trying to decide whether to have it fill one of my few remaining slots for my 12-day May trip.  I'm a big fan of close-up magic (loved Asi Wind's Inner Circle on my January trip) but the above description on the Atlantic website is pretty bare-bones.  (FYI I have a max 5 slots left to fill, for which I'm deciding between this, Shucked, Room, Good Night Oscar, Grey House, Once Upon a One More Time, Walking With Bubbles, and (if it's extended a week) White Girl in Danger.)

Do it

Lucas Hnath rarely disappoints and I can promise there is a lot more going on here

I have little interest in stage magic, but booked on Hnath's track record alone.  His past efforts suggest that whatever we see is bound to be interesting and inventive.
