Caught a Tree Grows in Brooklyn tonight Saturday March 26.
What a delightful production of a lost musical. The director,
choreographer, actors and all concerned should be proud. Never head of Pecadillo Theatre Company before but I was very impressed.

Very winning choreograhpy by Richard Stafford. Stellar performances by Jim Stanck,Elizabeth Loyacano, Klea Blackhurst in the Shirley Booth role.

It was a very modern musical in that it had some real drama to it and did not have a happy ending which is perhaps why it did not do well in its original incarnation. This production while in some ways very old fashioned is a very satisfying musical and a rare glimpse into a lost show of the past.

I highly recommend it. Liked it much better than Sister Act.
