Another one of these never ending suggestion threads, yes. Sorry for being terribly repetitive, but I'm most likely going to be flying to NYC the week of Thanksgiving. I need a couple of show suggestions, as I'll be going to see a musical or two with a relative. I have no interest in POTO, Cats, School of Rock, CATCF, Kinky Boots, or Bronx Tale. I've already seen Anastasia and Dolly, and I need an appropriate show to attend (think family-friendly, as I'm going with an older adult). For that reason and some others, DEH, Waitress, Chicago, BOM and shows with mature themes are out. I've been eying Once on this Island, Wicked, and perhaps Aladdin. Any thoughts?

Wicked would be a good fit.

Within your narrow parameters, your suggestions sound great. Wicked is one of my all time favorites and I was pleasantly surprised by Aladdin. Once on this Island has some good initial buzz going into the season. You might also consider Prince of Broadway or Beautiful. They don't appeal to me, but I doubt an elderly person would find anything in them offensive.  I also don't think there is anything offensive in The Band's Visit, which has great buzz for the new season.

Thanks for the input! I think I'll check Wicked and Aladdin out, and if all else fails, I could just see Dolly again wink

I'll second Beautiful. It's a great show with recognizable songs and when it saw it at least, skewed older.
