Hi everyone! Headed to NYC Oct 23-27. Looking to see the following shows and had some q's about recent rush/lotto locations (I'm really bad with heights so looking to see if any have been orch). I know that seats are at the discretion of box office, but let's say I do a digital lotto - before I buy, does it tell me the seat locations?
- Almost Famous - anyone know where the rush seats are located (in person at box office) vs lotto?
- Kimberly Akimbo - anyone know where the rush seats are located (in person at box office) vs digital rush?
- Strange Loop - anyone know what's best to do for the best seats - in person rush, lotto, or digital rush?
- Six - lotto locations lately? I did it in early 2020 before the pandemic and was side orch, a few rows from the stage.
- A Man of No Importance - has anyone tried rush? There are so few seats left for this week...I'm thinking of buying in advance. Thoughts?
- Wuthering Heights (St. Anne's) - has anyone seen it? worth it?
- Take me Out - I may stay the eve of Oct 27th for the first preview...but likelihood of getting rush?
We rushed ALMOST FAMOUS on Friday, got in line about 9:30am, there were maybe 12 - 15 people ahead. Our seats were partial view, row I on the far R aisle. Lights off the box above blocked the golden god bit, sadly, and a few other things, but not terrible. I had a great time. :)
I don't think I've had a digital lottery ever tell me seats before I buy (maybe TodayTix might?), but a lot of them will tell you soon after nowadays, so if you have someone on standby to take them off your hands, you could try that?
For Kimberly Akimbo lottery I got H 9 and 11 in orchestra, a bit off to the side but no obstructions and close enough to see facial expressions
I've heard Almost Famous also gives you pricing options, with basic rush being partial view but an option to upgrade to full view for $59 (though it seems you don't really miss much with partial view).
I'd also recommend checking out the specific threads for each show, as there will be more detail there. You can try the search too (though I'm not a big fan of its functionality). I'm pretty sure people have mentioned seats they've gotten for A Strange Loop, but I can't recall where they are (though I think front row/side orchestra was common at least when they first started). I think someone also mentioned a rush seat for Man of No Importance in the TDF thread recently.
It really is an attractive offer. I really liked the style of this online platform. I really enjoy reading posts like this. It's quite interesting. Fortunately, thanks to the development of the review industry, the opportunity to learn how to bet is now available anytime and anywhere. When interested in this area, you must be sure of the quality information you read. You can find such information at https://fairgocasinovip.com/. Best of luck!
Kimberly Akimbo has in-person rush and lottery. The lottery is currently a really easy win. My friend and I both entered this morning for tomorrow's matinee, and we both won. We got center orchestra row B, which is actually the fourth row.
You enter the lottery the day before the show, so I'd suggest trying your luck with that first, then doing rush if the lottery doesn't work out. Unfortunately you don't know your seats before purchasing, but it seems to be mostly orchestra.
