Okay, here's what I remember. Those of you who were there, feel free to correct me or fill in the blanks.
There once was a poster called ... I wanted to say Andrew. Was that it? Anyway, after posting for a while it became evident that Andrew was Andrea Rivette. Like she wanted people to know but still pretend she was being anonymous. And honestly, I had to google her anyway.
So it was clear this dame was one hot mess. She may have set the standard for Broadway actor crazy. She hadn't been performing for some reason, whether it was illness or injury. I want to say she was living in some place like Colorado.
So, anyone with half a brain knew who she was. And she was kind of annoying. And kind of an idiot. And yeah, that sounds mean, but it was like she didn't have a sense of irony, let alone a sense of reality.
So at one point someone posted jokingly (that someone may have been me, but I honestly do not remember) that Andrea Rivette was dead. So "Andrew" posts this thread called - and I believe I am quoting this exactly - "Andrea Rivette...NOT DEAD!!!!!!!"
And in that thread she may have outed herself right then or maybe it was later but at any rate, the cat was out of the bag, even though the bag was plastic and the cat was really just that cat poster that says "Hang in there, baby."
THEN - and this was when they were doing those Celebrity of the Day (furthermore known as COTD) threads, which was kind of fun at first, where one person would get picked and all day the thread would be about them. I think it would be anarchy now, but it was fun for a while - Andrewa, as she came to be known (that, I remember, was coined by Namo) was named COTD.
For some reason, someone posted a thread on the main board saying something like a commercial for the COTD thread because it was Andrewa's day. And mind you, the COTD threads had that day's COTD in the title.
So someone (again, it may have been me, but I'm pleading the fifth) gently asked what the point was of having a thread pointing you to THAT thread.
And sh*t went crazy. Like Andrewa went bananas, acted disproportionately persecuted and had a meltdown for the ages. I'm fuzzy on the details, though.
But that's it in a nutshell, my darlings, and a fine example of just one of the many people with Equity cards who should have monitored internet access. Because they a little cray cray.

Lin & Marc are always positive posters.
Not really, both have had incidents where they reacted badly and publically to criticism from posters.
Lin posted a whole rap verse in response to a poster, I believe it was about Corbin Bleu being cast. BWW made a news article out of it; if you can figure out the god-awful search engine, you can find it. He also PMed the poster involved.
Marc Shaiman had more than a few back in the early days, but one I specifically remember was when Hairspray made some directorial changes and someone posted to criticize the dancing in the aisles during You Can't Stop the beat and he rushed back to defend it.
Both reactions were no better than that of Anthony Rapp circa Rent movie.
Lin posted a whole rap verse in response to a poster, I believe it was about Corbin Bleu being cast.
Yeah, about how CORBIN did in his audition. And he was right, he is a good Usnavi. I don't see how that is anything like what Rapp did.
Didn't Shaiman return for last year's comments about Catch Me If You Can as well?
Andrea Rivette would appear anytime her, Jekyll & HYDE or Coleen Sexton's names were brought up, which around the time she was posting, I believe Coleen had just joined the Wicked tour. Defend + Love them, and then when people would compliment her she would bring up the being sick during the run! Crazy on her perhaps, but nice in person.
Who could forget Megan Lewis while in Grey Gardens coming on her for that one poster criticizing Lewis for talking in the last row of the balcony taking notes or whatever? Lol!
Also on here: Jill Santoriello, composer/book/lyrics of A Tale of Two Cities, who would actually take the criticism and respond to it as opposed to those mentioned above who just defended themselves out the wall.
A Few orchestrators and music directors/arrangers /etc are also on this board to my knowledge!

WOW. I'd forgotten all about the Megan Lewis thread 'til you mentioned it!
I believe it was deleted pretty quickly, but there is reference to it here: https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.php?page=5&thread=927905&boardid=0
Yes, I remember Marc Shaiman, Jennifer Hope Wills and her friend Kathy, who is also a wonderful singer.
Kristin Chenoweth also said she checked "allthatjazz" on Seth Redesky's show. She said she will never do that EVER again.
Taylor Frey (Hairspray, Finian's Rainbow, South Pacific) is a poster on here as well. I had supplied some information about him a while back and he PMed me to tell me it wasn't true. Who knows what really happened in regards to the story I told. But, I apologized.
"And honestly, I had to google her anyway"
That was funny...haha.
