Before an evening performance where do you guys go? Any good restaurants or just cool places to check out? I am a New Yorker but i am also game for new experiences! I like Dylan's Candy Bar, Serindipity, etc.

I sometimes go to Planet Hollywood before shows (which is weird, because I'm a New Yorker-- Planet Hollywood is so tourist-y). Ruby Foo's Chinese/Japanese restaurant is also one of my favorites, even though it's a little expensive. The Korean Palace is really good (I went there before a bunch of shows).
ruby foo's is great i agree
pigalle's is a nice little french restaurant, i little expensive but not too bad, planet hollywood is loud and touristy, but i guess if you want an experience go for it.
My favorite place to have dinner and a couple of yummy watermelon martinis before a show is LUXIA on 48th St. (between 8th & 9th). They even have a lovely quaint garden to have dinner in. You may want to make a reservation just to make you sure you get a table...212-957-0800 - always have that number in my palm.

Stardust Diner on Broadway, next to the Winter Garden..I LOVE the food there and the singing waitstaff is wonderful to experience.
Its fun to hang around the Marriott Marquis atrium. I also just like to walk around time square.
I usually go to Da Rosina's on Restaurant row, and occasionally Puleo's on 45th. If Im going to a show thats up more towards the 50s streets I'll go to the Applebees where Lundys used to be (next to Mamma Mia) because its heavily theater decorated.
I also recomend Stardust Diner there was also this chinese restaurant i went to once before a show called Ollie's
