Years ago (early 90's ) there used to be a great broadway theatre shop next to the Shubert theatre (?), is it still there and do they have a web site.
I'm looking for a "Angels in America" T shirt. the one with the large letter A with wings.
Thanks.

It's called One Shubert Alley, part of the Broadway New York chain.

Thank you so much for that.
:)
The same chain has a huge store across from the Majestic Theatre. If your looking for anything Broadway related, they usually have it. Plus the two shops are basically down the street from each other so if one is out, the other generally has it.
Crap, they wont send stuff to Australia..
That's what ebay is for (and at about the same price, plus postage but minus airfare!)
I also remember no Angels in America product while there in March
I went a few weeks ago and they had some stuff from Angels in America at the big shop. I cant remember specifics or anything though. As for the Shubert Alley shop, I am not sure.
If you do not see what you are looking for, ask at checkout. If they dont have it at their shop, they will call the other one to ask them. The employees are very nice and helpfull.
Hope that helps...
That big shop across from the Majestic is the Theatre Circle store. It's very good, they'll probobly have what your looking for.
I remember they had on right in the center of times square.
Thanks guys and grils, but those stores don't do international orders, so will try Ebay.
Cheers
I remember seeing Jesse Tyler Ferguson back when he was working at one of the shops, just as On The Town was gearing up. Many of the workers are actors, so you never know which big up-and-coming star will be helping you out.

One Shubert Alley was many years ago, the stage level star dressing rooms of the Booth Theatre.
They were first turned into a temporary advance box office for Ballroom in the fall of 1978 and then when that opened (and closed in 3 months), it became One Shubert Alley.
T'was rumored back then that the shop would handle show merchandise that was made by a company owned by the son of a very high level theatre executive.
Wouldn't you rather have stage level dressing rooms?
