they are going bankrupt. I attended there when I was 17. OVER CROWDED is not the word. The teachers were bitter and nothing but a good lesson was learned there on what you SHOULD spend your money on next time.
I also say ... SCHOOL FOR FILM AND TELEVISION THE BIGGEST WASTE.. I will save a thread on that.

Posted: 1/18/05 at 6:18pmThe Mason Gross school @ Rutgers University in NJ has a very good program. It's not a MAJOR university and very inexpensive.

I am interested and tried but, i always passed on extra credit projects. I would of loved to have gone out for Mason but, due to that I would never have gotten accepted.

Posted: 1/18/05 at 9:06pmI know a woman that attended AADA. She absolutely despised it and dropped out after her first year. I also know a girl who started this year at AADA, but I have yet to talk to her to get her opinion. If I hear from her soon, I'll let you know.

Posted: 1/18/05 at 9:52pmIt was a great school when I went there and there are a number of us, from my class, that are still working professionally and doing quite well in theatre and films. That was, however, the class of 1980. I can't speak for what happens there now but the training that I got there was invaluable.

Posted: 9/12/08 at 11:38amtry a community college if you're grades aren't good enough to get into a 4 year university. A lot of community colleges have arts departments. Then when you've been there for a couple years you can transfer, and usually unless the school is a conservatory you're going to have to take "real subjects"
