ABC7 Spring Theater Preview: High Noon

For those of you tri-state Chatters…last night on ABC’s NYC affiliate, they had their annual Broadway spring preview, hosted by Danny Burstein and local news anchor, Michelle Charlsworth. Towards the end of the program, they ran through several productions coming in “later this year,” including the Michael Arden-helmed adaptation of High Noon. I’ve seen/heard no mention of this since their press release last year. Does anyone have any “inside scoop” - is this still actually happening in 2023?  Very curious to see who they cast and how/where they’ll stage it.

Maybe they were waiting for the summer which a lot of shows are doing so they get good ticket sales…I think they have a name for this

Could just be based on the original press release which vaguely said it would open in 2023, but then there hasn’t been a peep about it since. What’s the tea?
