I plan to lotto this Sunday for the 3 pm show, however I am getting conflicting infomation about the lotto. On TalkinBroadway it say that the lottery takes place (names are collected) 2 1/2 hours prior to each show. However, on the ACL website it say that for matinees it begins at 11:30 am and names will be drawn at random with winners announced at 12:00 pm, matinees being plural,it doesn't specify for the Sunday show inwhich the time differs from a normal matinee. With the Sunday performance at 3 pm the two sources don't correspond.
Info? Thanks!

After discussing it until we all got headaches the other day, I can't help but laugh by just seeing the ACL Lottery mentioned.
But I would recommend calling the theatre box office.
I am 99% sure that ACL does the lottery on Sundays by collecting names at 12:30 and drawing names at 1. The "matinees" (plural) refer to Wednesday and Saturday. I am almost positive that Sunday does it an hour later. But yes, check with the box offce.
Just make sure to check for cast members before you wait around. If they're there, you're not gonna win. Or so I hear.
i read the thread about the ACL lottery being rigged..
well how is the lottery is it easy to win or hard to win?
I'm 50/50. Lost one, won one.
The woman who runs it will always find out if there is standing room or other discounts. I did standing room the time I lost. It's not bad. And I was next to Zach's chair, so that was cool. :)
Names are collected at 12:30 on Sundays.
The first time I saw it, I tried to get standing room and was able to buy a lotto seat at the box office. The second time I went, I won the lotto.
