I heard, from a source, that when someone went to compliment him, he said something like:

"If I bring a little joy into your humdrum lives, it makes me feel as if my hard work ain't been in vain for nuthin'."

...the stories are coming in fast and furious!

Voiceanth,

I don't know who's spreading these lies!! I never use the word 'ain't'. It's so common. Like so many of my fans!

re: re: re: re: re: !

Master and Eddie,

I'm overwhelmed. You guys really are wonderful!!!

Wellll, how did the final weekend go, any word on the transfer to Broadway? Film rights? Backstage snogging?

First of all, I truly have to thank all of you who came to support the Robbiej (Eddie, Voiceanth, JRB, Paul...anyone else that I'm leaving out?). Then there are those out there who couldn't be there, but showed their support in other wonderful ways (etoile, Sueleen). And of course, all of you who wished me well on this site! My heart was so full from all the kind words, hugs and kisses!

The final weekend went very well, although it was extremely exhausting. Performing that marathon role over and over again whilst keeping a day job was NOT EASY. Fortunately we went out with a killer performance on Saturday night. Finishing the run was a bit like finishing the decathalon. I was incredibly proud...but SPENT!!!!

No word yet on the Broadway transfer.

But I'm expecting a call from the HAIRSPRAY people any day now!!

Its too bad Barbara Walsh is so good as Velma.

I've always thought Velma should really be played by a man. I mean, she's in Lypsinkas' wardrobe already!

Sorry, robbiej...I don't see you as Edna. But you'd make a delicious Velma!

Yes, I heard that hair-pulling, face-slapping, powder-room brawls are very "in" among the smart set of the Great White Way!

Oh my God..

he started screaming...

"Curtis was supposed to love ME..."

very odd..no one named Curtis was even in the room!

A very "Judy" moment if I do say so!

And let's not forget his "La Conga"! It was POSITIVELY TORRID!!!

In Buenos Aires and London and Paris they Tango.
In old Vienna their favorite has long been a waltz.
In Wiakill in Madrid and Seville they Fandango.
But in Havana all the maidens go

1, 2, 3, BOOM,

1, 2, 3, BOOM, 1, 2, 3, BOOM, 1, 2, 3, BOOM.

Having worked with Mickey Rooney I can safely say he would be proud of Robbiej, but he wouldn't allow him in his dressing room.

For all those looking for any type of deal and are offended by the highly outrageous cost of theater tickets, I found a discount code for robbieJ's new show PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE.

Theatermania has a discount of $3 off the exorbitant $20 ticket price for performances May 6 through May 8. Hurry now, seating is limited.

Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.
