I went to AMDA from '90-'92 and then it was a decent school. Very one-on-one. My friend was a teacher there and he told me that when I auditioned, there were 4000+ plus people but they only took 1800.

But now they have expanded and they DO take just about everyone. Plus the classes are about 40 people -- when I went, they were about 15-20. At AMDA, at least when I went, they don't hold your hand - it's up to you to do alot of work too.
