Hi there, Just bought tix to Hamilton and was unaware it was for the ASL performance. I’ve read a thread about other shows but has anyone seen one for Hamilton specifically? Can anyone tell me what to expect? Thanks :)

There will be a few sign language interpreters standing/seated in front of the stage either to the far left or far right. They will be lit brightly, but not as bright as the stage. The will sign the entire performance. It won't affect anything in the show.
And it will likely be both beautiful anf fascinating

Never been a problem in those that I have seen. Not going to wreck your enjoyment of the show.

I could not agree more! You can ignore the signer(s) if you prefer, but I think ASL is like beautiful choreography and only adds to the experience.
As a lyricist, one of my favorite experiences of my own work was when I saw an ASL performance!

I've seen a show that was close captioned - it was pretty cool, did not detract from the performance and actually added to it, if I missed a line I could glance at the captioning and know what was said.
I've also seen an ASL performance and really enjoyed it. Added a whole new dimension to the show. It was such a cool experience I would not hesitate to repeat it, especially for a show I knew well. Go for it!
