ASU tkts booth question

I know that All Shook Up has been at the TKTS booth & this probably makes me sound cheap but: Do they have the balcony $20 seats there for 1/2 off?

Most of the tkts tickets were in the rear mezz or back of the orchestra. i went about a week ago. Just by balcony seats and move down at intermission.

OK, I saw this for the second time today. One of the main reasons I went a second time was because the first time I had balcony seats and it ruined the entire first act (which is the the better act IMO). There is no atmosphere in the balcony and you get an entirely top-down version of the show. You can hardly seee their faces or any of the on stage action because they all look like ants.

The moral of the story is, if you can possibly afford it, do not buy balcony seats.

I saw the show for my first time in the orchestra and from then on I've sat in the balcony since that is better for my budget.

I'd reccomend seeing the show in the orchestra for your first time at least if you can afford it. TKTS sells orchestra tickets for around $50.

Just use the discount code and save your self hours of line, for the same pice you can get them right at the box office with the codes..

I got my tickets at TKTS and they were third row mezz near the center - on a Saturday night. Great seats.

I'd choose those over balcany any day, even for the $30 extra bucks.

i've seen the show 5 times. once from the orchestra, once from the front mezz, and three times from the balcony. i oddly prefer the balcony. i just like getting the whole big picture.

The only thing I was disappointed with by sitting in the Orchestra seats was that you couldn't really appreciate some of the lighting techniques used (for example the different coloured spotlights on the dancing ensemble couples used before the 'That's All Right' scene in the bar happens). A minor point, I know, but one worth noting, especially if you're into lighting.
