You can also pre-order it through Sh-k-Boom, and they're shipping them now. I have it. It's beautiful... I'm so so so proud of Adam.

He wrote it all himself... it's pretty similar to Model Prisoner, but I think I like it a little bit better. He's really grown as a musician and has totally found his style, I think. You can hear the influence from all of the stuff that he loves; Billy Joel, Elton John, The Beatles, etc... it's amazing. I'm so proud of him!

To those of you that have Civilian:

I know this is going to sound weird, but here it goes anyway...Does "Beautiful Song" sound as tinny (I don't think that's the right word, and I don't know the right word would be) as it does on the website? Maybe this was the sound he was going for, but to me, it sounds like it's a poorly dubbed and has generation loss on the site. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but do you know what I mean? It has an almost hollow quality to it. I guess I'll just have to wait until I get the CD, but I figured I'd ask those of you who have it already, because it was something that struck me when I first listened to it, and I put it on again the other day and it still seemed a little odd to me.

NTG, I say "a little" because I stil adore Model Prisoner! Civilian = Love, hence my signature.

mabel - the song sounds much better on the cd. I described what I heard on the website as "fuzzy," but I know what you're talking about. I actually think that may have been done so that the quality was poor on purpose, perhaps to avoid having people try to download the song from the site? Just a thought...


Shamelessly plugging.... and yes. It's constantly playing on my iPod. I've had it on repeat since Sunday night.

acording to adam model prisoner sold a little over 10,000 copies hes hoping that civilian will double that.

Got it last week at Adam and Daphne's show, spent the extra $$ to buy it signed, even though he signed my other for free. It was worth the money signed or not signed. Adam is a god!!

I JUST got it a few hours ago in the mail (WOO!) and I can NOT stop listening to it. I'm surprised I didn't go insane this week while waiting for it to ship. I seriously sat by my door every day after school, and nearly harassed the mail lady a few times, just waiting for Civilian to come. But oh my gosh, it was totally worth the wait! I am in complete love with the CD. I like it even more than Model Prisoner, and I'm so happy for Adam. If you haven't ordered this CD yet, GO ORDER IT! NOW!

I think (hope) his fan base has grown since Model Prisoner.
I'll add to the Civilian plugging! It's awesome, and it only gets better as you listen to it. Book of Endings is such a cool song.

I love Book Of Endings! I'm actually listening to it right now - heh. It's one of my favorite songs on the CD. I don't know any other way to describe it other than how #1Elphie did. It's cool!

Model Prisoner is over four years old. The fan base has DEFINITELY grown... I can personally attest! Hopefully that will help, and if he decides to do Wicked, being in a show that huge has got to help sell CD's.

Yes, but the growing fan base would, in theory, go purchase the CD no matter if it was four years old or not.

How do famous people with big-selling CDs get famous anyway? Is there a way to do it without getting your own reality show and being related to another popstar?
