LOL. NEVER. NOT ONCE, Undi!
You know I love him, though.
Undiscovered... I think maybe you have the old page bookmarked? If you go to sh-k-boom front page, you'll see it.... It's been there for about a week, I think.

Do we really know? Are you sure you took your multiple-personality disorder meds this morning?
Go to the main Sh-k-Boom page. There's a Civilian link. It's all there.
I hadn't seen it before, so thanks Chloe. I just read all of the stuff that Adam said, about each of the specific songs. It's really, really interesting to be able to "see" the heart that's really behind all of that music, and some of what he had to say is really kind of... heartbreaking and disturbing. I think my favorite thing about Civilian is the lyrics; if you listen they are all so powerful and so meaningful... okay, I know that's really cliche, but I think most of you reading this know enough about me to know what I mean. I really, really respect him for putting that all out there, and just writing exactly what he has to say. In a time when mainstream music tends to be complete crap, that's so admirable.
Anyway....
"really like it, especially "I'm With You." I think that's a masterpiece."
God. That song is so beautiful. It's one of my favorites on there, and every time I hear it I can not believe how gorgeous it is.
Okay... and... Book of Endings is apparently about crazy fans. *le sigh* I'm intrigued, to say the least, and I think I'll leave it at that, keeping in mind that Adam describes it as "tongue-in-cheek" and as a joke. So long as he's laughing about it, I will continue to!

Isn't it supposed to be a clean site?
That would be quite interesting... I wonder if the record people ever figured it out.
Undiscovered - I would love to hear him put the explanations for those songs in detail!
*blushes*
*dies*
Thank you.

I would like to hear Adam himself explain that song, in person... perhaps with a demonstration to help us better understand the, uh... deep meaning.... of it.
*gasp*
insomniak!!
Yeah... guess he did think twice. And I think now *I* will think twice about my antics!
"I would like to hear Adam himself explain that song, in person..."
He has, insomniak, just without the demonstration...
*edit: And I WAS surprised not to see Emcee's name attached to the 'Book of Endings' story

Oh, amasis, don't pretend to be all high and moral...
Those song explanations are great. <3s
And yeah, Emcee should feel very loved to have a song about her. Did the spork get its own verse?
NO!
For the record, the song was written BEFORE the spork. Thank you.

Well, you would know, seeing as that you follow him with plasticwear constantly.
You mean to say you've affected him that much even pre-spork?
Awww... you know we love you...
No, I know you're kidding.... I was actually afraid of him the first time I met him... actually, I used to be afraid of people in general. But anyway... yes, I have had such a thorough impact on him.
Sarcasm aside... it's kind of... interesting. I mean... "Just a little shy of not quite caring..." and then "I wrote this song and I owe it all to you..."
*shrug*
I always find out things about the songs I like most. Odd.

Still don't see what you're quoting.
how about "every single one of you haunt me, every night"
Go to the website, insomniak. Read what he says about the song.
