I live in LA and the traffic does suck, but there are so many opportunities for musicians and actors.
I wanna here more about how he missed a show due to traffic :)

Oh, this isn't even my story to tell, but I love it. My friend went to see one of his first shows back in AIDA, and like ten minutes before curtain, it was announced that Cheyenne would go on in his place. After the show, she spoke to Cheyenne, who said that within the last hour before curtain, he got a call saying he had to go on, because Adam was stuck in traffic.
A few weeks later, she and I saw the show together, and we waited to say hi to him before the show. She wasn't going to do it, but I was like "I think she's got something to tell you!" So my friend goes "I hear *somebody* had some traffic problems...." I think Adam did really feel a bit bad, but he was like "yeah.... there was a police shootout!!!"
It's not as funny in type. You had to see the hand gestures and the facial expressions. It was so dramatic. I laughed so hard. But he *was* really sorry.

See, I have stories. Five freakin' years worth of stories.
I shouldn't be selfish -- time to give him up to the rest of the world, I suppose.

I'm not in LA, but I'm a damn site closer to there than I am to NY...so I agree with the "YAY!"

"Two YAYs for Adam. Do I hear a third?"
You do--right here! Yay!
Welcome to L.A., Adam!
Don't worry, New Yorkers--we'll take good care of him. We'll make sure he gets lots of sun (well, once it stops raining, anyway) and fun...even though not ALL of us are soft-headed superficial idiots who don't appreciate theater, thanks.
I'm a live show addict...I know tons of indie artists out here and they're all awesome, so if Adam wanted to play a club or five out here, he'd have an audience of at least one!

*sheds a small tear*
Well...hopefully he can find some success, and if not, he'll be back.

Make that two!
I'm a live show addict as well, and yes, L.A. does have a great music scene. I love Adam's music, and I'd love to see him play out here.

Is he moving there for his music career or film career? Or both?
I think he could have more of a chance for success with his music, but that might just be me.

Posted: 11/9/05 at 2:10pmI'm sure if the opportunity arised he would come back for a good show, but I'm not dissapointed in him wanting to be in films, I love movies, and just think- we'll all have the chance to see his talent up close, if not personal. :)

But see I love the fact that he's so real and brutally honest, I wouldn't want him to lose that, though I realize how much he would be eaten alive for it.
Aww, I have seen him in Aida live once, the 24-hour plays, and the Costello concert but I have never seen him in his own concert, playing his own music. Aww, I hope he does one more here before he moves!

Posted: 11/9/05 at 2:48pmYay for Adam! Hope he finds what he's looking for in LA. And I Second the hope that he does some shows in LA while here, I'd love to see him live! :-P (And not have to treck across the country to do it.)
re: Adam Pascal Moving To L.A.#42
Posted: 11/9/05 at 3:37pmI hope he has a show in NYC before he would move out there. And preferably at a time when I can go see it!

I hope so, too. One last time.
I really can't turn into one of those people who flies across the country to see someone perform. I can't.

*crosses his name off her list of People I Can't Wait To Meet When I Get To NYC...is so not tearing up, wot?*
I wish you all the best, Adam. You're talented and sexy, they won't be able to resist, but...try to come back to Broadway someday. I'll be waiting at the stage door.

I'm sad. I won't lie. I'm not okay with this.
What if he just gets buried in the Hollywood mess of useless-yet-beautiful people? He IS talented, and it would be sad if this backfires and he disappears. Even if he's not the most talented guy in the universe, there's something special about him, and if that gets wasted, that's sad.
