i wish i could have gone. i cant believe they did all those songs from rent. i would have loved to see "light my candle" and "out tonight". im jealous, very.

He was turned around, and was like "I think you guys are going to like this one." Next thing "One song...." and I just started to cry.

*Dies* at this one, seriously can it get much better, Emcee I would have been cryin' with ya?? I am so glad that his days of saying "If you want to hear Glory, then go to the Nederlander...", I remeber him saying that very in a very cocky way I think it was in an interview or a concet but I don't remember, anyway I am happy that he has changed his mind and now has no quarms about singing Rent songs, or doing more traditional roles, although I realize this was just a one time deal since he was with Daphne and all, but still it makes me happy at least for some of you some of your dreams came true last night!!!

AdamPascalgal, I remember that interview. That's why I was like "no way. there's NO way he's doing Glory." I'm glad he changed his mind; it was a beautiful thing to be there for that.

Civilian... I'm on 10th listen-through today. It's beautiful. I'm really, really proud of Adam. Job very well done.

Emcee, what is Civilian like? I hear all kinds of lovely things about it, but I want details!

Will it be sold at regular stores? Like Target or Best Buy?

I don't remember where it is... broadway.com, like... years ago, I think. *shrugs* He basically said that he hated when people were always like "sing GLORY!!!" and he felt that if they wanted to hear Glory, they should get themselves to the Nederlander. I do think he did it because he was with Daphne, though.

At some point I'll give you details about Civilian, insomniak. It's a lot like MP... Adam has a definite musical style, but I think I like it better. It's just... it's beautiful. Sh-k-Boom says "in stores November 2nd." I'm not sure if that means you can get it anywhere, but they're shipping now if you order it....

the only reason why they did songs from rent is becasue the school required it for them to perform and it was a contractual obligation.

Maybe it wasn't when it was first released? I've definitely seen it at the Virgin Megastore in the city. More than once, and in several other places, too.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!! Were they patten leather??? I have a RED patten leather pair of Doc. Martens that I've had for about five years now. I purchased them in London. (Doc's are a huge thing there!)

And then in Taboo, everybody and there mothers brother wore Docs. Sadly the pair of red patten leather shoes Raul wore were NOT Docs.
